Wolves Gather in Town: A Young Adult Werewolf Romance
There’s no mistaking the new kid Brandon for anything other than a werewolf, and that makes Fitz pretty certain that Archer must be a werewolf as well. A date with Cassie is coming up in the evening, but Snort and Fitz make their way to the library to try to determine what they can about the newcomers. What is it about their town? Why in the world are so many wolves here?
WOLVES GATHER IN TOWN is episode nine in the new young adult paranormal romance series, FITZ AND THE PACK. It continues the story that began in the five episode collection FITZ AND CASSIE and the stories THE KISS, CASSIE’S DAYDREAMS, and ARCHER MAKES HIS MOVE. Fitz Crawford, a typical teen, struggles to keep some sense of normalcy in his life as he goes to school, hangs out with his best friend, deals with normal teen crushes, and tries desperately to keep from turning into a mad, ravenous killing machine every time his heartbeat gets faster than a crawl.

“Yo lover boy! What is the deal with Archer? This ole buddy ole pal is getting to be a bit much for my delicate sensibility.”
“Snort, do you even know what any of that means?”
“Yes, it means you are making my stomach flip when you see that girl! She is cute though. Okay so what’s the plan after school?”
“We are meeting up with Cassie and Lissa at the movies.”
“Oh, so a double date?”
“No, Lissa is bringing some guy with her.”
“Oh great, so I am the what, the fifth wheel? No way man, no way!”
“Snort, either way I am going, so if you don’t want to be bored on a Friday night, then you will come with us.”
“Fine. I guess I could ask Anna to come. She is always staring at me anyway, might as well do her the favor, after all, that is the kind of guy that I am.”
“You know, sometimes I have no idea why we are friends.”
“Because you have yet to find someone who doesn’t mind the smell of wet dog and who is as cool as I am.”
“Yeah, that must be it, now come on before we both get detention for being late to class.”
Fitz and Snort walked down the hallway, and that was when Fitz sensed danger.
