Introduction

No one had heard from Stanley Tranter since he had left Liverpool fifty years ago and Kevin Tranter had been very surprised when he discovered that he had been left his Uncle's house in faraway Devon.

There was an odd condition in Uncle Stanley's will which stipulated that a key to a room in the attic be given to Kevin's fourteen year old son, Jamie and the room was to be for his sole use.

The Tranter family had expected that life in the country was going to be different from Liverpool, but would soon experience a series of terrifying incidents. Only Jamie would know that the events were connected with what he had discovered in his special room.

Jamie would struggle to keep the secrets that had been entrusted in him and to understand why he and his family faced so much danger. He couldn't even explain to those close to him when help came from more than one unlikely source and feared that if he did, then no one would believe him.

How could Jamie’s mystery room be connected with monster birds, flying snakes, tigers, sharks and a series of strange events!

Jamie would discover that he was being pursued by an evil, invisible enemy, whose powers had no limits.
