Living on Long Island’s fast-developing East End, better known as The Hamptons, local builder Michael Dorian is forced to reckon: with a building industry being overrun by Manhattan developers; with his failed marriage and teenage daughter riddled with anxiety; with the nature of a hauntingly beautiful place that offers opportunity but no longer feels like home.
