When I Grow Up is a children's book presented by OG Publications with Books By Biggums showcasing 10 inspiring, successful, prominent Women of Color, who have risen above the stereotypes and challenges associated with being women of color and have proven that with belief, determination, tenacity and hard work, women of color can achieve their goals, making their dreams come true. These women are an attestment that the sky really has no limit.
This work was created to inspire young black and brown girls and to help them realize their possibilities. To show them they must continue to dream, work hard and reach for the stars because anything truly is possible. To help them grow up in a world where they feel motivated, challenged and successful and honestly believe and be able to say:
