Rolek Paradox runs the Agency, and the Cadet Academy that feeds it. He is both alarmed and intrigued by Jason’s impossible arrival, and decides to send him to the Academy for his protection, until they can work out a way to send him home.Jason’s memory is lost. He has no recollection of his life before the fall. He begins his training, and slowly realises that he is the target of a group known as Extractors, who will stop at nothing to kill him. After the third attempt on his life, he is smuggled away to a safe house where he learns the truth behind the war he has become the centre of.Determined to reveal the truth, he sets off to tell his friends at the Academy, but his actions lead him to a discovery that will change his life forever.
