Jessica's Secret

Paperback (Xlibris Feb. 2, 2007)
Jessica's Secret is a funny story about a little girl that wants to be a superstar one day. For some strange reason, she wants everything her friends have with stars on them. Jessica figures out ways to take them. She takes a bracelet with stars from Kristina. She takes a pencil with stars from Nicole. Will Jessica get caught? Jessica then decides to take a pencil sharpener from a store since she has gotten away with stealing her friends' personal items. Taking something from a store without paying for it is called shoplifting. The teacher, Miss Smith teaches about honesty when she realizes that her students are missing things in the classroom. After the lessons on honesty, Jessica confesses that she was the one stealing the items. After apologizing, she returns the stolen items to her friends and pays for the pencil sharpener. At the end of the story, Jessica learns a valuable lesson. She learns that taking things without permission is wrong. Teachers, parents and grandparents will enjoy reading Jessica's Secret to young children. The book teaches the lesson that stealing is wrong and that traveling the honesty road is truly the best road to travel.
