I Love You So Much

language (Kadima Press Oct. 14, 2013)
Nothing comforts children like the time they spend with you hearing the comforting words “I Love You.” Inspired by the author’s time with her own (now young adult) children, Laya would say these things to her kids as they drifted off to sleep. Watch your own child engage and smile from the sound of your voice and the whimsical illustrations. Toddler and grandparent tested, this book opens the heart and brings another opportunity to share loving moments.

The journey begins with “Good morning sunshine!” The pictures with Frog and Duck progress from active images into calm, restful images.

“I love you faster than the fastest rocket ship” and “I love you happier than the happiest dance” soften to “I love you fluffier than the fluffiest pillow” and
“I love you sweeter than the sweetest hug.”

There are twenty-one love messages and illustrations (pages) with Duck and Frog in each picture. (It’s fun for little ones to find them and point them out.)

Tip: To lull your child into a more restful place: as you read this book, progressively soften your voice, trailing to slower and quieter tones.

Be sure to see the sleepy moon (back cover) with the special message: “You are loved. You are lovable.”
