( July 2, 2017)
When his father fell ill, Peter Bagley expected to spend a long lonely summer in the care of his elderly neighbours.
Everything changed one morning when he woke to find himself lying on cold bare floorboards. Where was the warm comfortable bed he’d fallen asleep in?
As Peter wandered dazed from room to room, he soon realised that every single item in the house had disappeared. The beds, sofas, pictures, carpets, light bulbs, even the plug sockets had gone.
The police dismissed the case as a simple burglary, though no one could explain how the house could have been so thoroughly emptied, or how it could have been done so quickly and without anyone waking up.
Peter decides to take matters into his own hands and teams up with his friends to try to solve the mystery. Before long they find themselves confronted with the world of, the Mannequin Machines.
This is Andrew’s first sci-fi novel aimed at children aged 9+ to adult. Be sure to look out for future sci-fi titles coming very soon.
