The government of Patriae has held its citizens under the oppressive hand of tyranny for years. Its plundering has left the farms struggling to stay afloat—and certain young men and women are determined to fight back.

Aria grew up in that countryside, and she too is aching for a way to save it. When she finds out about the Parariium, a secret group formed to fight for the people—its members using their special abilities to help end the corruption—Aria decides to join up. She soon discovers, though, that as its first female member, she faces judgment and prejudice. But she’s determined to do whatever it takes to prove herself.

With only her brother and the Parariium’s leader believing in her, she takes on a dangerous mission. What she discovers is much worse than they imagined—a third military force has been concocting a plan to take over.

Now, the success of her mission will save her people—and Aria won’t back down. When she unearths an alarming secret, she must tap her inner strengths and resourcefulness to use the information to defeat an entire army. The future of Patriae rests on her shoulders. Can she triumph?
