This is the Third book in the series of childrens stories, and features three short bedtime stories for children. In this Childrens fantasy book Archie recounts his adventures at Edinburgh Zoo!
Archie the Friendly Spider, Is a Scottish spider that lives alone with his mother – his father having mysteriously disappeared. He has no brothers or sisters and is just old enough to go outside to play by himself. Being a very lonely little spider, Archie decides that he needs some friends, and so his adventures begin by seeking to make friends first with the children that live next door, and then with the other animals that inhabit his neighbourhood.
This is a series of short bedtime stories to entertain your children, and also to help alleviate any unnatural fear of spiders and other ‘creepy crawlies’ that they may have.
For myself – I have enjoyed writing them, I do hope and trust that you enjoy reading them as much!
