Maximillian And the Man With No Nose

Maximillian and his friend Luke find clues to a treasure hidden in his hacienda, built shortly after the Conquistadors settled in what is now New Mexico. With much searching, they find hidden compartments, doors, and rooms in the historic house that lead them to a secret tunnel and a locked treasure chest. The Man With No Nose appears keeps popping up, and they can't decide whether he is helping them, likely to harm them, searching for the treasure himself - or all three. Max and Luke survive bullies, other treasure hunters, and Mrs. O'Donnell, the housekeeper with dark secrets who watches their every move.
