15-year-old Liam Wilson descends into a storm of conspiracy, mystery, and fate as he struggles to make sense of a dark family secret. The discovery of a bunker under his new house reveals a captive creature - a Nephilim - recreated from ancient DNA to bring about the second Great Flood. God wiped them out the first time, and a cult of religious zealots is counting on Him to do it again.
Liam must discover why the Nephilim chose him to share its own secrets with - and why it refuses to carry out the apocalyptic dreams of the cult who created it. Enlisting the help of his almost-girlfriend Melanie and a world weary bus driver named Eden, Liam decides to take on the cult and (hopefully) save the world.
