TAKEN! The Case Of The Children Who Went Missing

eBook ( June 26, 2016)
This is the third book of children fiction that I have written after 800 books of medical non fiction.

I hope that you will like the story.

I know that the story of two parents who were able to use their courage and ingenuity to defeat their enemies against all odds and find their children will be interesting to those who wanted a nice and pleasant story.

Jason is a fifteen year old boy who is interested in computers, science and a green earth.

Jane is his younger sister who shares many interests with her brother.
She particularly likes The Story of the Time Travel Watch because it features her hero Uncle John.

Alison is their mother who is also another scientist like her husband.
She combines the duty of being a mother with her work as a scientist.

She has invented a lot of inventions together with her husband.

Warren is the father of the children.

He is a senior scientist with the Defense Science and Technology Organization.

He has about two hundred inventions to his name.

Uncle John is a friend of the parents of Jason and Jane.

He is the inventor of the Time Travel Watch who was featured in a short story “The Story of The Time Travel Watch” where he invented the watch to bring back his father to the future so that he can save him from a burst cerebral aneurysm.

He was also featured in the rescue of “The Missing Parents.”

Since that story he has been travelling in time to save many friends from misadventure.

He is very close to the family of Warren and Alison.

Harry is a scientist who worked with Warren in the Defense Science and Technology Organization.

He is the villain in this story and has employed two men to kidnap the children.

Fortunately John was able to spoil his plans.

Chapter 1

The Missing Children

Warren was working at his office at the Defense Science and Technology Organization (DSTO) when the telephone rang.

It was Alison his wife and fellow scientist.

“Warren, it is almost eight in the evening and the children have not returned home.
I am getting worried.”

Their children are Jason and Jane.

Jason is fifteen while Jane is eleven years old.

Just 2 years ago, their father was kidnapped by another scientist from the DSTO and they had to ask for Uncle John to help them rescue their father (the story of the Missing Parents).

“They are not back yet?” exclaimed Warren “Did you call their school?”

“The school teacher said that they have left school in the school bus at 5pm as usual but they are still not home yet.” replied Alison.

“That is unusual. Maybe the school bus has broken down or is involved in a big traffic jam.
Any way I have almost finished my work. I will go home early and pass through their bus route to see whether there is something wrong with their bus.” said Warren.

“They have their smart phones with them. If there was a traffic jam, they would have called by now.” replied Alison.
