Help you kids master these sight words sooner than later.
Did you know that 50 to 75 of the words used for K to 2 grades are sight word that can not be learned through traditional phonics.? They must be learned by memorization. But once that happens, kids are on their way to more success in school. There are over 1,000 words kids should learn by around 4th grade or so, and about 300 of them should be learned before 3rd grade.
But memorizing is boring. Unless you have a little help. Just like the help we’ve found with these cute little monster letters.
Book 1 of Monster 100 Site Words features 100 words that kids should understand and master by the end of 1st grade. Each page has one word spelled first by the monsters. And boy, are they funny. The big, bold images can be colored in and it should be used as a reward for finishing the other work that includes tracking, writing and reading.
