I personally recommend to scan and reprint these pages using a laser printer to prevent smudging when coloring, especially if you'll be using ink, markers or paint instead of crayons or colored pencils. You can head to the print shop or if you are able to you may want to consider printing on card stock rather than plain paper to prevent your pigments warping or bleeding through your pages. That will make this special enough to frame and give as a gift.
