Tula Typhoon: The Pillars Of Hercules
language
( Sept. 28, 2013)
In this the second of her adventures, Tula Typhoon having saved England from the ravages of a rogue hurricane, has returned to her adopted hometown of Doncatraz, knowing her life will never be the same.
While some old enemies have disappeared off the scene, her welcome to a new high school is anything but friendly. Finding solace in her meteorology, Tula meets a character from her family’s past who knows all about her.
Into the mix, comes her engineer father who returns from southern Spain where he has been building the largest bridge in the world - The Pillars Of Hercules - stretching from Europe to Africa.
With the opening of the crossing imminent he is intrigued as to her 'gifts' and takes her to Morocco to meet an enigmatic shaman, who can also manipulate the weather to her own devices. As expected the two test each other, but it is Tula who comes away the wiser, learning much from this wise queen of the desert sands.
Tula will need all these new found skills to deal for what is in store though, as an old nemesis reappears with only one intention in mind - to destroy the bridge and with it the Typhoon family.
