Sometimes I Pray

(Christian Faith Publishing, Inc. Aug. 14, 2018)
The world is a tough place to navigate. The younger we attain and develop the necessary tools to navigate successfully, the better. “You always have a prayer, but sometimes you only have a prayer.” That essentially means that sometimes in life, our only hope is prayer. God hears and answers prayer. Sometimes He doesn’t answer the way we think He should, but we have to remember that He is smarter and wiser than we are. I believe it is essential that children learn as early as possible that there is a Grand Creator, our Heavenly Father, who loves and cares about them. He listens to their little prayers even before they’ve mastered any language. Sometimes I Pray helps children to understand the things they can pray about. I remember being a little kid at the grocery store with my mother. We were poor, and at the checkout counter, I remember hoping she would have enough money to cover everything. I felt bad for her when she didn’t. I wish I knew that we can pray about such things then. So, hopefully, this little book will help children in a big way to understand that they can pray for the “big” things and the basic things in life.
