One prophecy with the power to change both worlds.
Two worlds divided by a mortal divide.
Three factions fighting an ageless battle.
An eighteen year old girl with the power to destroy them all.
Life for Hailey has been pretty average overall, well except for the fact that her parents disappeared without a trace. Oh, and the fact that whenever she dreams she visits an alternate world full of both dangers and beauty. Basically, her life is literally a living nightmare.
Hailey Portner is just shy of her eighteenth birthday and experiences what one would call a serious mental breakdown. She wakes to find that her nightmares may very well be real, and to top it off she is covered from head to toe with weird glowing marks. Her aunt tells her its genetic, a mysterious boy named Ike calls them glyphs, and yet another boy calls her his property. All she really wants is her parents to come to her graduation and to pick a college to attend. With living nightmares feeding off her, various factions fighting over her, and a boy with dreamy eyes appearing around every corner, a normal life is definitely off the market. But who needs normal when you have two gorgeous guys just at your fingertips. If only they wouldn't appear and disappear within a blink of an eye.
Vampires, werewolves, and zombies are only really something one would dream about...right?
