The Super Adventures of Sophie and the City: One Suite Holiday

In a modern day re-imagination of the holiday classic The Nutcracker, One Suite Holiday follows Sophie as she embarks on a wild ride though the vibrant and diverse neighborhoods of NYC, meeting a cast of colorful characters along the way. Decked out in a fabulous black and white alice + olivia ensemble, Sophie begins her journey with a trip to the legendary Lincoln Center with her family to watch The Nutcracker, but she is soon lost in her own imagination - and so the adventure begins. An "Herr Drosselmeyer" looking character gives a special package to Sophie and her new friend Fritz, while the Upper East Side boys are cast as the wooden soldiers and the Lower East Side graffiti artists as the mice. Each neighborhood comes to life with characters and history as the modernized Nutcracker meets West Side Story, and they all enjoy the Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairies at Dylan's Candy Bar, and snow angels in Gramercy Park. One Suite Holiday is another fabulously grand tale of fashion and history in the city that never sleeps.
