The Cat with no Name Goes to Hollywood

eBook (The Electronic Book Company March 23, 2015)
The continuing tale of a nameless pet cat living in Ealing with his kindly cat carers, senior citizens Mr and Mrs Whitley. Living a happy life with his partner Clarissa, he is unprepared for the arrival of movie mogul Harvey Weinstock, who jets in from America looking for a feline to star in his latest Hollywood blockbuster movie.

Auditions take place in the town hall where our hero is selected for the starring role, together with a whopping million-dollar fee.

The Cat with no Name’s human enemies, Albert and Deirdre Bell, his deceased owner’s son and daughter-in-law, have already failed in their attempt to kill the cat for the half a million pounds left to him in Mrs Bell’s will.

Two petty, small-time crooks, Danny Miles and Keith Fletcher, who’d previously kidnapped The Cat with no Name from the Bell’s and demanded large sums of money for his safe return, plan to travel to Hollywood and blackmail Harvey Weinstock, by snatching his star halfway through filming, and demand a million dollars for the cat’s return. But unknown to Miles and Fletcher, the Bells are also on their way to Hollywood to kidnap the cat.

A giant Bengal cat bullies The Cat with no Name’s partner, Clarissa, the film producers put him through death-defying stunts, and the kidnappers cause mayhem in Hollywood.
This is the story of his ordeal. Much of it in his own words.
