Lewis and Clark: Voyage of Discovery:The Story Behind the Scenery

Jefferson National Expansion Memorial is administered by the National Park Service in St. Louis, Missouri, for two centuries the "Gateway to the West". There the soaring, 630 foot Gateway Arch honors those who pioneered the West; the immense Museum of Westward Expansion tells their story. The photo-murals with which this book is concerned are a major feature of the museum, magnificently displayed in a 16 foot high exhibit extending 500 feet along one wall of the museum.
