Cassie’s Daydreams: A Young Adult Werewolf Romance
Cassie can’t get the kiss with Fitz out of her mind. It was so sweet and wonderful, and she wants another! Why is he so quiet? Why is he so distant sometimes? Above all, when is he going to ask her out on a proper date?
CASSIE’S DAYDREAMS is episode seven in the new young adult paranormal romance series, FITZ AND THE PACK. It continues the story that began in the five volume collection FITZ AND CASSIE and the story THE KISS. Fitz Crawford, a typical teen, struggles to keep some sense of normalcy in his life as he goes to school, hangs out with his best friend, deals with normal teen crushes, and tries desperately to keep from turning into a mad, ravenous killing machine every time his heartbeat gets faster than a crawl.
Here’s a preview:
“Okay, do not make me puke up my pop tart Cassie. Snap out of it!”
“Shut up Lissa, he is very sweet, not like the other guys who just want to paw all over you.”
“Hey speak for yourself, I happen to like when they paw all over me.”
“Okay you are crazy! I mean why don’t you just try playing hard to get at times.”
“First off, they have never gone past second base with me and they never will. I like to have variety. This is how I look at it; boys are like ice cream, why would you just try vanilla when there are so many other flavors out there.”
“Sometimes I wonder about you Lissa.”
“You are not the only one, my parents say that all the time. Now let us tackle the evil world of science and let us hope Mr. Klein actually took a shower today. I hate sitting in the front of the class, he smells like rotten fish, gross!”
Lissa pinched her nose and Cassie laughed and they walked into class moments before the bell rang. Cassie sat in her seat and tried her best to focus on what Mr. Klein was babbling on about, but her mind was replaying the kiss over and over. She was so lost in thought that she didn’t even hear the bell ring for her to go to her next class.
“Earth to Cassie, come in Cassie! Wow girl, what are you thinking about? Oh wait, never mind, I know exactly what you were thinking about.”
“Shut up Lissa! I don’t tease you about the guys you kiss, all five hundred of them.”
“Hey! Retract the claws there, I was only kidding! And it was five hundred and forty five so get it right!”
