POG, THE LITTLE RUNAWAY PIG

Pog is a little fat Large White pig. He didn’t fancy being shut in a pigsty all his life so he ran away from the farm where he was born. Now he lives in the village of Spindlebrook at Thistledown Cottage on the edge of a wood with the Twine family only Mr and Mrs Twine don’t know he is there. The children - Pippa, Danny and Tommy are keeping him secret because they think their parents might not allow them to keep him. He sleeps in a kennel with Button, the chocolate Labrador and in the daytime he lives in the wood. He is rather greedy, not very well behaved and constantly getting into scrapes.
