The book is child-centered;it highlights and promotes a child’s ability to dream about acareer of their desire by using rhyming words and pictures to illustrate the content. Each page focuses on a different career (blue/white collar occupations): Teacher, Jockey, Air Force Officer, Doctor, Longshoreman, Baker, Judge, Firefighter, Computer Technician, Politician, Cosmetologist, Chef and Visual Artist. The content authentically projects a child’s voice and career aspirations while crayons are purposely used to illustrate the images. The intent of this book is to expose children to different occupations and encourage them to dream about any career of their choice. The book invites the child to interact with the text by sharing their career aspirations with excitement!
