The Dawn of Pelayaces is the award-winning story of Jeremy Black, a high school senior and quarterback of the football team, and Waldo Deven, the middle school geek who transports them both on an adventure through time and space to the planet of Pelayaces.
They travel through the beautiful underground world of the Pelayacenes where golden streets lead the way to golden palaces filled with riches beyond imagination. Above ground, they hide from the treacherous Cnoays, only to fall prey to the alligator/apeman, the mind-controlling Elam Nostra.
A young teenage girl, Shauna, befriends them and helps them escape from the Nostra. Being a visitor from a nearby planet, she is well acquainted with the dangers of Pelayaces—the biggest danger being, the Amber Dawn, when the deadly Nostra is at the height of his powers.
Will Jeremy and Waldo be able to find their way home? Will they be able to survive the Amber Dawn and avoid the clutches of the Elam Nostra, or will they be swallowed up in the Nostra’s every-increasing darkness?
