Love Cake

Growing up in Colombo, Sri Lanka and to the family I was born into leaves me feeling eternally blessed and loved. Grandparents are a precious gem but Grandmothers always make a house a home and they unite us all especially with their culinary skills, advice and stories. This is about the relationship I had with my maternal grandmother and about the most delicious cake she baked. To date nobody makes a better cake than she did and this is an ode to her.
