Muskie Attack: An Up North Adventure

For city kid Corbett Griffith III, divorce and two busy parents mean good-bye Chicago, hello great outdoors. The ten-year-old, given no choice, gets shipped off to his uncle's Wisconsin fishing resort. "I can't have him trapped inside for another summer. He needs to get outside and be a boy," his mother explains. At Whispering Pines Lodge, Corbett befriends Pike, a boy who thrives on the great outdoors and getting into trouble. From black bear encounters to harassing law-breaking resort guests, the two embark on one adventure after another. When tales of a seventy-pound rogue Muskie roaming Lost Land Lake become a reality, Corbett and Pike are determined to catch the ferocious fish no matter what. Think alligator.
