Earlier that month, back home, I wasn’t completely fazed when it dawned on me Mum couldn’t make it.
I should have known. Anyway since then I agreed to come along to help my dad out. But I didn’t want to come. I was doing him a favour, although why I should, I really don’t know. After all he’s never done anything for me.
Get over it? How could I? The main person in my life was gone...forever.
