This is a story about Daryl and Angel who are having marital problems since Angel is dissatisfied with Daryl as a man and has taken a lover. Daryl decides to prove too Angel that he is a real macho man by buying a rifle and going hunting in the woods hundreds of miles away to kill a wild animal preferably a deer. Well Daryl hasn't planned for anything but an overnight venture and hasn't, foe example, brought any food to eat. He is soon surrounded by hungry wolves and kills one of them. Fearful of sleeping in his tent, he barricades himself in his car only to awaken in a cave surrounded by both animal and human remains. What is this creature that Daryl has encountered and will he be able to escape being eaten alive?
