Thank you for the question.
A poet is, before anything else, a person who is passionately in love with language.

Hi Lolita,
Thank you for the question. Being unique and introvert is a gift.
There are a few great books for your introvert boy to enjoy. I am not sure about your boy's reading level, normally K-N shall be the right levels for a 7 year old boy, but if he is an advanced reader, he can always try books with higher reading levels.
Have fun reading!
Hi Sasa, "What a Waste" is a great book by Jess French.
Lost Species by Jess French may be a good book to try out too.
Life Cycles: Everything from Start to Finish by DK can also be an option.
Where did my Clothes come from may also be fun to dig out.
Usborne has a few similar books that your girl may be interested too.

Hi there, if Captain Underpants and Dogman series bring your boy fun, they shall be fine but they are not the best choices for you because these series don't use the best language and they have violence and nudity in them.
There are other comic books that carry positive messages.
Here are a few suggestions, including some funny easy chapter books.
