The Grumpy Hippo

The happy hippo has left the building!
Henry is a hippopotamus, or just hippo, for short. Henry is a grumpy hippo, at that. As a matter of fact, Henry is one of the grumpiest hippos around. Even the other hippos don't want to be around him!
In Africa, hippos roam the plains freely, usually in groups, in the midst of their natural habitat. Henry spends his nights grazing in the green grass, and drinking from the river. In the daytime he sleeps in the cool water, until the sun goes down. Though Henry is comfortable in his surroundings, he makes others around him uncomfortable with his less than pleasant attitude. One day, however, Henry finds something that will snatch the grumpiness right out of him!
A childrens book that gives a simple lesson can also be entertaining and informative. Enjoy Henry's story on his journey through the African plain, and a very important lesson of life. Look inside to see if Henry will change his bad attitude of pure grumpiness, and find out if he eventually realizes that life is just too short to be mean.
