Manchester based, eleven-year old Kimberley decides to enter Britain’s biggest television talent show, singing in the style of Karen Carpenter. She makes friends with one of the other contestants, Arthur, a mysterious man who is a talented illusionist and magician. Nervous at the prospect of facing the audience and the judges, led by Simon Growl, Kimberley finds that Arthur’s magic proves helpful in her quest.
