Private Brinkley saw it and saw that the Little Old Lady did not, and sprang forward just in time to save her from a fall. But he was not in time to save the packages and they were scattered on the ground. With apples and nuts roll ing everywhere.Now, that's too bad, ain't it? He sympathized.
