The Time Twins: A Journey to Birth

Sara is tech-savvy, but she has trouble making friends. Her family is different than the other families in Portland - she has two moms, and she's adopted. So when she finds a futuristic smartphone with an app that can take her back in time, she hatches a plan. Together with her more outgoing twin brother Charlie, Sara goes back in time 12 years to the day of her birth. Her goal is to solve the mystery of who her biological parents are. She wants to present on them for a family tree homework assignment, and she thinks it'll help her make friends at school. Charlie wants her to accept that she doesn't need to know them. Will Sara learn to accept herself and her family for who they are, or will she put on a mask for the sake of making friends? Also, can she solve the mystery of where the smartphone came from? How exactly did her two moms come to adopt her and Charlie twelve years ago? And, what will happen if on her adventure she accidentally changes the past?
