Alex appears to have it all – good looks, wealth, popularity – but on the inside he’s imploding from the pressure of trying to be the person everyone wants him to be. After one terrible night his secrets are exposed and his parents send him abroad until the scandal dies down.

Hayley is content just the way she is, thank you very much, even if she and her friends are the school misfits. Between studies and working three jobs she has no time for boys, especially not the new guy who is full of contradictions. Alex makes her feel things she wants to keep buried because Hayley has also been hiding a secret of her own.
