When Clarabelle moves into a spooky old house on Halloween night, she quickly realizes the country is no place for a city girl. There’s creepy woods, strange noises, and wild animals. Plus, the house has a grandfather clock that chimes a tale only Clarabelle can hear.
While her parents travel to the village for food, Clarabelle confronts the clock and is instantly transported to a town where things aren’t quite as they seem. Trick or treaters are given beetles instead of candy, werewolves are on the prowl, and it’s all part of the Baba Yaga’s plan to steal the souls of children. When a cleverly disguised boy named Malcom befriends Clarabelle, she learns he could be both friend and foe. Together, the two just might change the future but it comes at a cost. If Clarabelle saves the children, she could be stuck forever. Her escape could mean the demise of this world and her own.
