The Wishing Star

As Michael and his mother gaze out the window at the millions of stars in the sky, he questions if wishes really come true if you wish on a star. He also wonders how to know which star is a wishing star. He goes to bed dreaming of the many things he might wish for, when he is awakened by a loud noise and a very bright light. To Michael’s amazement, a real wishing star is in his room. He is now faced with the difficult decision of wishing for the things he wants or wishing for what someone else needs.
