I do not much mind what a man's politics are, so that he has got politics. 80 that he will concern himself with the public welfare of his country and of his race, and give his mind to the matter, I do not much care whether I be called upon to agree with him, or to differ fiom him. But I don't love a man with whom I can neither agree nor disagree; who will say that politics are nothing to him.
