Author, Stacy Bax, has a passion for the natural world and wildlife, above all an innate appreciation for the work, life, and dedication to this planet by the humble Bee.
Busy Buzzy Bee developed in combining a story to share the importance of bees from a child’s perspective. This was achieved through painting the episodes in a bees life, thus creating a natural narrative for their contribution to the planet.
About the Author
Stacy Bax, British author of ‘Sydney Spider’ and ‘Busy Buzzy Bee’, a devout wife, mother and educator, who has worked in schools as a Kindergarten/Early years teacher for over ten years. She is a great believer of outdoor learning and strives to educate children about the wonderful wildlife that surrounds them and most of all to be kind.
About the Illustrator
Elodie Bax, five-year-old daughter of Stacy Bax. Elodie takes inspiration from her petite perspective of the world, with her love of animals, nature and stories of make belief. She has become quite the independent artist and is most proud of her accomplishment in helping to create this book.
