Animal Families

The Northwest Wild Early Readers are beginning reader books about animals in the American West. Animal Families is a photographic journey showing various mammal and bird families and elements of their lives. With a 2.5 reading level, this book will delight beginning readers with interesting facts, stunning images and the loving care shown by furry or feathered parents to their offspring. "Did you know?" and "What do you think?" questions are scattered throughout the text.
Nine animal groups are included: American bison, grizzly bear, moose, elk, deer, mountain goats, bald eagles, California quail, and swans.
