It has been almost a year since Amy Chase and her friends saved their school from a supernatural attack, and many things have changed. Amy and her friends are seen as heroes by many of their classmates, but as pariahs by others. Also, Amy is recovering from breaking up with her boyfriend, Max Wilson, who is acting strange and distant to her. Then the trouble starts again. Three students are found dead, and Dutton High goes on high alert, tensions running high. And then the disappearances start. This time, however, Amy's friends are the victims. Amy is forced to team up with Max, despite their disagreements. They must find their friends before it is too late. Before they are murdered by the Survivors, the undead beings which feed off living energy to gain strength and power. Together with the remains of their group, Amy and Max must also find a way to rid their school of these vicious apparitions. They cannot stand idly by. This time they must fight. And not everyone will make it out alive.
