A couple go for a walk in their local forest, go through a clump of dense vegetation and find themselves in a strange place with strange characters in it. But what is this place? And more importantly how do they get back to where they came from? The story begins: Arrien opened his eyes, yawned and stretched. Then he got out of his bed and walked to the window. ‘I hope it’s a sunny day’ he said to himself as he drew back the curtains. But alas what greeted him wasn’t sunny weather. Instead what he saw was cloud and drizzle. ‘Oh no’ he groaned and turned towards the chair where his clothes were neatly piled ready for the day. Arrien hated drizzly days. If it was going to be wet he preferred it to rain, at least then he knew where he stood. If it was raining then any activity that was planned for outside would have to wait. But with drizzle it was difficult to tell where one stood as there were different types of drizzle. One got things really wet, another got things wet but not so wet that any activity planned for outside had to be postponed. And you usually couldn’t tell which type was falling until you were out in it. It was a real nuisance. And what made matters even worse this particular day was the fact that he and his friend Mikelina had planned to go for a long walk in the nearby Ashwood Forest. Oh how he was looking forward to spending a day walking through drizzle. Of course he didn’t have to go, but as he didn’t get to see Mikelina that often, let alone spend a day with her, there was no way he was going to let some drizzle, of whatever type it happened to be, get in the way of his enjoyment. Oh no.
