The Tree of Tears is a short story, filled with valuable lessons every child and parent should know:•Don’t trust strangers•Don’t panic•And life is about the happiness you create for yourself and those around you. Mia loves flowers. She convinces her mother to accompany her to the market to help sell them, so they can make others as happy as they do Mia. But when Mia stops along the way to pick some more, she becomes lost. Frightened and alone, Mia meets a tree spirit who offers to help return her to her mother. It is not until they are deep underground that Mia realizes she has been tricked. Worse than that, she is not alone. The tree spirit has trapped several others. Mia summons all of her wit and courage in the hopes of defeating the tree spirit and rescue them all.
