The Long Run
(Movellas, May 25, 2016)
The sequel to the gripping "Love To Hate", we're reunited with Cyrus and Hayden. While Hayden spends the summer in North Carolina, Cyrus is up at Princeton, working hard, having fun, and making new friends. Hayden tells himself that it will all go back to normal as college begins, but he's afraid that it won't be long before the distance between them becomes more than just a few dorm rooms. At the end of their summer apart, Hayden and Cyrus’s relationship has suffered not only from distance and time apart, but also due to Cyrus’s developing friendship with his summer roommate, Johnathan. It is no surprise that Johnathan; smart, cultured, and abrasive, rubs Hayden up the wrong way, but his jealousy gets the best of him when Cyrus announces that he and Johnathan are going to be roommates for the upcoming school year as well. In the beginning, Johnathan seems to hate Hayden just as much as Hayden hates him, but after Cyrus forces them to join a play together, that changes. Harbouring a secret crush on Hayden, Johnathan spends more and more time with him while Cyrus is busy with the heavy course load of his double major.
