Pink Rosie is about unconditional love. Everybody is different and having self esteem can get you through. Pink Rosie offers the reader an awareness that all living things can blossom and grow given space, patience, nurturing, faith and tolerance. The story begins when Pink Rosie suffers verbal abuse from the red roses. Shocked by their bullying, Pink Rosie's feelings of self-worth enable it to withstand the taunting and hard times to follow. Unloved, uprooted without warning, Pink Rosie is tossed out into the world by it's caretaker. Left to the hands of fate, tattered and torn, Pink Rosie stems the torrent and finds unconditional love and acceptance. An invaluable part of the growing process is learning to problem solve, coupled with a positive mental attitude. In this way our children are assured a strong foundation. Pink Rosie is a metaphor for the human condition.
