In the third book of the series the Squirrels travel to the spooky, swampy south, trading with alligators for jambalaya spices at Gator Swamp Farmers’ Market. When trading they are enticed into an alligator freak show featuring Heddy, a five headed alligator. The story apex is a fast swamp boat ride and chase by Great Horned Owls who want to eat the Squirrels. Luckily the Squirrels have great karma and make friends everywhere they go! Who will the Squirrels become friends with next? Will this new friend save them from the flying threat? Things are spooky in Gator Swamp! The alligators live with the belief that they have to trade backwards, starting with the closing of Namaste. This belief along with the marching bands, beaded necklaces and yummy food makes Gator Swamp Farmers' Market a colorful place to trade. The Squirrels will meditate to speed things up and have a stress free flight to Gator Swamp. Time flys when you are having fun! The Sanskrit words discussed/used in this book are Namaste, Sadha (Saint) and Sutra (to sew).
