  • One hundred and one famous poems : with a prose supplement : an anthology / compiled by Roy J. Cook

    Roy J. Cook

Paperback (Contemporary Books, March 15, 1997)
Nice, tight, paperback copy in great reading condition. From Burroughs to Poe, this is a copy of poems from the best poets ever. Of course considering its age (printed in 1958), the book shows quite a bit of wear and tear. In good condition, but it has water marks on the bottom edge of the front cover, which continues through on the bottom, fore-edges. The cover and pages mentioned also have small tears as well, but they are small. The top, bottom and side fore-edges (edges of the pages) are worn and stained. On the bottom corner of the front binding (and the first page), they are torn from the binding--about a half-inch tear. Front/back covers have a few, small stains as well. Front cover has a spot where the sticker was removed many years ago! Of course there is shelf wear, and the binding is worn and torn (small tears) in a few places. Amazingly enough, there is NO yellowing of the inside pages whatsoever!! The book is not as torn up as it sounds, I am just very descriptive so that my customers receive the book exactly as described.
