Finally, he takes his test, and passes it, to become a registered therapy dog. He visits nursing homes, bringing smiles to the sad, lonely and disabled. He visits a school and receives hugs, smiles and pets from from the children. The book offers useful information for those considering making their dog a therapy dog. Through heartwarming photographs, the book takes the reader through all the steps to successful completion of the training. The book is targeted to children of about 4th and 5th grade, but will delight all dog lovers and especially ones interested in dog training.
