    Living life as a bumbling breadbox with fur, was hardship enough for Theodore the Corgi, but when the young dog finds himself cold and alone in a frightening animal shelter, it’s clear that his struggles have only just begun. Labeled “unadoptable,” by shelter staff, Theodore mires in the gloom until a kind-eyed stranger with a pocket full of handcrafted jerky and a quirky smile, rescues him with the intent of making Theodore the newest addition to his curious Bookstore. Though overwhelmed at first, Theodore soon finds both his new friend and the odd bookstore are welcoming hosts, despite the Corgi’s run of clumsy mishaps. And while Theodore’s formerly dull and lonely life fades to memory, a new, adventurous one blooms before him—for hidden amongst the dusty stacks of books and things at the Enchanted Bookstore, waits a peculiar little man with a set of the most magical, Spectacular Spectacles imaginable.

Their goofy, gallopping sidekick hound dog, Robin Hound, has been sucked into the bookstore with them - and he can talk!Disoriented and a bit scared, Robin will sniff out a strange intruder hidding in the broom closet of the store. Well, actually, hidden behind a secret door leading to a secret room where this stranger lives. And who is this odd man from the closet? It's the little fella who gave Theodore his magic glasses - the Abbot. Soon, our adventurers will learn the secret of the glasses and many other magical items in the bookshop and be introduced to fantastic creatures who live, frozen, in the bookstore with them. Who is this Abbot and why has he chosen Sam and the bookstore to hide his magic?

Now, they must figure out what happened and how to get back to the bookstore! Oh, and Theo can now speak!Together, they will meet Robin Hood himself and, a braggadatious, slow-moving dog suspiciously named Robin Hound. After Robin Hood and his merry men take Sam and Theo's magical book, the two must rely on Robin Hound to get them to Hood's camp and take back the book - their only way home. Along the way, they will discover that Hound is not all he makes out to be and Theo will have to come to the rescue on more than one occassion. Stealing the book back from Hood and his Merry Men, will not be an easy task.
