Perhaps this is a first in children's book award competitions, one and the same book receiving awards in both juvenile fiction and juvenile non-fiction categories. One judge in the Children's Non-Fiction category thinks "more kids would go into science and anatomy if taught with this kind of book--it's very easy to comprehend and a great way to explain biology with excellent pictures." Another judge really enjoyed the general idea of following a boy at a fair to teach biology and said that the book would be a great teaching tool. A judge in the Children's Fiction category found it interesting, fun, and easy to read, and commented that her 10 year old daughter loved it!
